This book is one of the first sci-fi books I’ve read in a long time, and I’m glad I did! It was the perfect balance of science fiction and political thriller. The characters are believable and well-written and the plot was engaging with twists and turns throughout. Each chapter is a short scene with a different character. Terrance does an excellent job of keeping each perspective unique and easy to follow, which can sometimes be tricky with so many characters.
I can honestly say I loved this book, and I can’t wait for Book 2! – Amazon Review
Finding a space/time Fissure to 61 Cygni should have made Conrad’s company rich. Zero travel time, easy access near the asteroid belt — what’s not to like?
Except that Fissure attracted all the wrong kinds of attention. Corporations and governments wanted those resources. And they wanted them very, very badly.
Conrad has to fend them off. Worse, he has to divert resources from his real goal — to save humanity from an evolutionary cliff. Now, he has to fight like never before. Or will the Fissures kill his plan — and him.
